New Home!!!!

With so much happening I've been doing separate posts on to cover everything. We've been selling stuff and tossing stuff and getting things set up for a new life here:

Love how close this home is to the mountains!! It's 20 minutes drive to Big J's job and close enough to bike/walk to the kids' schools. And yes, those are fruit trees. We'll inherit fruit trees and raspberry bushes I'm super excited about them!! Now I just have to learn how to help them grow before my black thumb has a chance to kill them!

This is the main upstairs living space. I love this kitchen!! My first time owning an island and I'm excited about living in luxury! Also diggin the hardwood.

This will be the kids' bathroom. I love the updated fixtures and that we'll have separate bathrooms from the kids!

There she is. Big J sent me out to look for homes in May (I think to get me more excited about moving back--I was all set to stay here another year) and we got a really good feeling about this one. Not that it's perfect, but it has a lot going for it. And we've always had a feeling about where we've lived; that it's just the right spot for us. Even so, if it weren't for my hubby I'd probably never buy a home!! I'm just not a risk taker. Trying to get over that. :) Good thing he is. We balance each other out and I hope to have many fabulous years in this home with my adorable family.

What a cutie, right?!

My little B's baptism was the same weekend as Daddy's graduation. Made it extra special and made it easy on Grandma's and Grandpa's to come all the way out for both special occasions. And made for one wild and crazy weekend at my house!! I loved it!!!

Daddy wrote a special song for her baptism day and he and her two grandpa's sang it beautifully. Grandma's both spoke, Aunt played piano, Uncle snapped pictures and I lead the music and made a video of her to play for our guests while she got dressed after the baptism and before the confirmation and also while pie was served in the cultural hall.

She was ready for this occasion! Before deciding for sure to be baptized I suggested she read Moroni chapter 10 which talks about the Holy Ghost bearing testimony about the truth of the gospel and decide and pray for herself if this decision to be baptized was the decision that she wanted. She came downstairs after doing this just simply beaming and felt so good about being baptized.

I think she'll remember this as a very special day in her life. You know, I will too.

WOW, isn't this kid Amazing!!

Oh yeh!! This is quite an accomplishment!!!! A day filled with mixed emotions, mostly a swell of excitement and feeling of achievement for the many, many, many days of his hard work in the library, at home in the evenings and carrying out 7.5 lonely months of research abroad and my effort to support him with a good attitude about our student lifestyle with three children.

Congratulations are certainly in order. He's worked incredibly diligently these past 8 years to get to this position. Bravo big J!!

And the proud parents of my darling husband!! What incredibly caring and supportive parents he has!!!
