No Man's Land
We went out to the South west shore of Utah Lake. It looks like a barren wasteland and the lake is quite frozen over with a good layer of snow on top. This part here had melted on top but there was plenty of ice underneath to keep us from falling into frigid water.
We are SO EXCITED (especially my sis!) to be on the frozen lake! This lake does not entirely freeze over very often so it was fun to check it out this year.
Brigham Young's winter home in St. George. We really liked this period-piece piano. We were down there for a choir tour for this little lady. They had given a beautiful performance the night before and we decided to do a little touring around after a morning workshop for teachers where they also performed.
I LOVE Valentine's day. This decoration jumped out at me and screamed "MAKE ME!" {though in an Asian tutorial language}. I had to oblige. Little bug and I were talking over lunch after we'd hung it up that Valentine's may be our favorite holiday. Even better than Christmas! And my little cutie pie says, "Yeh, I think I like Valentine's even better than Christmas too because instead of giving presents you give love." I agree little munchkin and I'm glad you think so. :) (and remember that next time you want to annoy your siblings)
Big man having fun with a day dedicated to chess. He's such a gamer.
Really enjoying himself. I love to see him in his element.
3rd place in the district for his grade. Now on to the state tournament in March.
Our elementary school won 2nd place of all the schools. They are so awesome!!
