This is the beautiful cherry tree (we think) right outside our front door. I took this several days ago when most of the blossoms had popped out into bursts of pink clusters. Growing up in Texas I never really remember seeing many flowering trees so it is fun to be out here in spring when white, yellow and pink trees bloom galore just about all at once when the weather turns warm. That's right. Warm! Today was about as perfect as you can get--I guess that's why I figured it was a good day to share our good fortune of the tree all in bloom so close to our apartment.
